Hoboken Cafe on Whitlock’ Story, featuring Johnny Pizza

Hoboken Cafe on Whitlock’ Story, featuring Johnny Pizza

How did Johnny Pizza learn how to cook real Hoboken Italian food? From his family and his neighbors in Hoboken, of course. Not from written down recipes, but from asking questions and watching as the extended family prepared the meals on Sunday.

Johnny paid attention and learned the recipes and techniques that he applies everyday to his fresh mozzarella, sauce and famous meatballs.

Johnny is a great guy all around and an even better chef. The food is amazing! As for Johnny, he’s extremely nice, very humble and filled with a lifetime worth of interesting stories and above all else makes everyone who enters the Hoboken Cafe feel like close family. The food alone will make people return time and time again but the extra special attention he puts on customer service and getting to know each of his customers puts this place over the top! I recommend Hoboken Cafe to even one I speak to.
